Applied games · for organisations

Make the challenge something people can try.

Training, onboarding and decisions that a slide deck only describes. JoTo builds a playable version on its own platform: on one screen with every phone as a controller, or as a link that opens in the browser. You work with me; the invoice says JoTo.

A game helps when people have to do the thing, not hear about it.

  • Training that people currently click through
  • Onboarding that explains the information and still leaves them unsure
  • A decision with competing consequences
  • A policy or process that needs a real conversation
  • An event that needs people to take part, not watch

If a game is the wrong tool, I will say so. You still leave with a clearer brief.

The platform

Two ways to put it in people's hands.

These are original JoTo games, not client case studies. They show what the studio can already build on.

Odd Sketch on a shared screen, played from phones

One screen

Every phone a controller.

One television, every phone a controller. The room sees the same thing, and each person still has a private decision. Useful when a group has to argue a choice out loud.

Beefcake: Smash, a JoTo game that runs in the browser

In the browser

A link, no install.

A first version that runs in the browser people already have open. Nothing to install, and a link you can send the same afternoon a review ends.

How it works

One behaviour. One small experience. One honest look.

  1. Understand

Name the behaviour, decision or conversation that matters.

  2. Build

Put the smallest polished version in someone's hands.

  3. Test

Watch what people understand and do, not what they say.

  4. Decide

Improve it, take it to production, or stop with useful evidence.

Pricing

Start small. Commit after people have played it.

Three steps, each one earning the next. You never buy production before people have played the prototype.

  1. If the challenge is still fuzzy

    Discovery workshop

    €750 – €1,500

excluding VAT · credited toward a sprint

    • A half or full day with your team
    • The one behaviour or decision worth testing
    • A written brief and a sprint quote
    Book a workshop
  2. The usual first step

    Validation sprint

    €5,000 – €7,500

excluding VAT · fixed scope · 50% upfront

    • A playable prototype on the JoTo platform in ten working days
    • One review round and a small user test
    • A recommendation: improve, expand or stop
    Scope a sprint
  3. Only if the prototype works

    Full production

    Quoted after

scope set by what players actually did

    • Content, polish and rollout
    • Hosting, analytics and support
    • Priced once the prototype has proved the idea
    Talk production

Prices are indicative and exclude VAT. The workshop fee comes off a sprint booked afterwards. Invoices are issued as JoTo.

You brief me. JoTo builds it.

Invoices are issued by JoTo Games (KvK 73863157). The person you brief is the person who leads the work, with JoTo's production pipeline behind the prototype.

JoTo can also be the game partner inside a larger programme with your agency or learning team. You keep the relationship with your organisation.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do we have to commit to a production?

No. The first paid step is a workshop or a validation sprint. Production is a separate decision, quoted after people have tried the prototype.

Workshop or sprint: where do we start?

If you can name the behaviour or decision you want to change, start with the sprint. If the challenge is still fuzzy, the workshop sharpens it, and its fee comes off the sprint.

What do we get after ten days?

A playable prototype on the JoTo platform, shared as a link, notes from a small user test, and a written recommendation: improve, expand or stop.

What if a game is the wrong tool?

I will say so. You leave with a clearer picture of the behaviour you wanted to change.

Is this gamification?

No. Points are not bolted onto a slide deck. The work models a decision or a conversation so people can try it.

Contact

What would become clearer if people could play it?

Tell me the behaviour, decision or conversation you want to change. I will tell you honestly whether a game is a useful way to approach it. Or book a 30-minute call.

Sending this does not create a commitment. I reply within two working days. Read the privacy note.
